Good Morning!

This morning was my first real morning of being a mom of two kids under the age of 2! This is because Remie has gone back to work and my mom has gone back to North Carolina. I am officially forced to face reality on my own. The morning started out a little shakey...I was awakened at 6:30am not by my children but by Lily throwing up in my bedroom (AGAIN!). That dog really needs to stop eating so many sticks outside so she will stop getting sick! Thankfully I was able to go back to sleep until 8am when Charlotte woke up to eat. When I went to get Remie up, I didn't know what to do with Charlotte so I just put her in Remie's crib while I got him dressed. As you can see by the picture, it worked out very well! Everything else went rather smoothly, only a few hiccups while I figured out how to feed two children at once! As I sit here typing, I can't help but feel that this is the calm before the storm...Charlotte is sleeping and Remie is quietly playing with his trucks. Can being a mom of two kids really be this peaceful? Only the hours and days ahead of me can answer that! Wish me luck!
