The family and I drove to North Carolina to visit my parents Saturday night. Remie Sr was so excited to drive 12 hours to "create family memories". I, on the other hand, thought that we should fly and not worry about the 12 hours of memories that we were going to be missing by flying. As you can tell, I lost. We drove through the night so that the kids could sleep in the car. Charlotte slept most of the trip but Remie only slept about 4 hours. Surprisingly, Remie sat very quietly looking out the window the entire time he wasn't sleeping. I am very proud of what a good little traveler he is! We arrived in NC about 7am yesterday morning and had a wonderful day of sleeping and playing at the pool. Remie even slept for the first time in a big boy bed and did great! He thinks that he is so cool because he is not sleeping in a crib like BABY Charlotte!
This morning started out great! We went to the famous "Dairy Bar" and Remie had Mickey Mouse Pancakes! After that we went to the train depot to play on a real train! Life doesn't get much better than that!
