High Five!

Here's today's High Five:

1. After dinner today I took the kids to Remie's new elementary school to play. I want Remie to get to know the school so that on his first day he isn't as anxious. I was very pleased to see that there were other kids playing at the school and Remie had no problem introducing himself to two other boys and he played with them the entire time. It warmed my heart to see how kind Remie was to Charlotte tonight. He noticed that she was just standing watching him play so he stopped and told the other boys that his little sister Charlotte was going to play firemen too!

2. Yesterday I went to the OB for my monthly prenatal appointment. Everything went well. The baby's heartrate was in the 140s and sounding fantastic. We scheduled the BIG ultrasound for September 5th and I'm bummed that the kids wont be able to join us. It'll be Remie's 2nd day of school and I dont feel right having him miss the afternoon so soon after school begins. So, it'll be a nice little intimate ultrasound with just me, Remie Sr and baby groundhog.

3. Remie David starts football practice next week! I can't wait to see if he loves it like his daddy does!

4. I'm very excited for my friend Erin to come to town this weekend. She lives in Pennslyvania and is making a 5 hour drive to come spend the weekend with me!

5. Isaac goes in for his speech evaluation on Monday and I am really hoping that he qualifies for services. I know that sounds funny but I think that he could really benefit from having speech therapy to teach him how to speak out of his mouth rather then grunting out of his nose.

Praying for Isaac; I hope he can get the services to help him out!

Praying for Remie as he starts school - great idea taking him to the playground.

Praying for Charlotte as her buddy leaves for school.

Praying for you and Remie as you make another beautiful baby! I hope you can't tell what the baby is when you see the ultrasound. You're a pro at those now, I bet!
