What a Busy Day!

A couple of cute things happened today that I wanted to share:
1. Remember a few weeks ago when I had to yell at some little girls for bullying Remie? Well, my boy has learned how to stand up for himself! We were at the park today and Remie was up on the play structure. Remie was on the chain link bridge that wobbles as you walk on it. He is always very nervous and cautious when walking across the bridge. Anyway, he was making his way across the bridge when some bigger kids went running by him shaking the bridge terribly. Without thinking, Remie yells, "You guys no run by Remie!" I was so proud of him and laughing hysterically at the same time!
2. Charlotte is normally a very good napper. I put her in her crib, she whines for about a second and then goes right to sleep. Today when I put her down for her afternoon nap, Charlotte laid in bed cooing and giggling for about 20 minutes. I was wondering what was so funny so I went upstairs to check on her. When I went in her room, I found Lily with her nose in Charlotte's crib and they were playing together! Somehow Lily got locked in Charlotte's room when we put her to bed! I dont know how we didn't notice that the 90lbs of fur was missing!
3. This afternoon, Charlotte and Remie were playing on the floor together. Remie noticed that Charlotte's skirt was up, thus revealing her diaper and says "No show you unders Char-it!" and pulled her skirt over her butt. Note: Remie calls his underwear "unders". I am so proud that he is already looking after his little sis!
4. Until today, I never noticed how much I yell at the neighbors dogs for barking constantly....We were outside playing and the little yippers next door starting making all sorts of noise. Remie looks right at their house and screams "QUIET DOGS!" It was funny until I noticed that the neighbors were outside too!
Yup, this all happened today! We had a great one, as you can see!

Sounds like a fun day at the "V" house! I love that he calls his underpants "unders"...that's what I call them...I wonder if I've said it to him and he remembered it. He's such a little smarty-underpants!
