Braxton Hicks Contractions Begin!

For the last week or so, I have been experiencing mild Braxton Hicks contractions (BHC). For those of you that don't know that these are, Braxton Hicks Contractions can be described as tightening in the abdomen that comes and goes. These contractions do not get closer together, do not increase with walking, do not increase in how long they last and do not feel stronger over time as they do when you are in true labor.
Yesterday I was sitting "back stage" at church waiting to sing for our Sunday service when the BHC hit. I told the worship leader what was going on and that I would probably need a stool to sit on while I was singing because there is no way I could stand while having a contraction. The pain seemed to get worse and worse rather than better. I told Remie that I wasn't feeling good and he reminded me to drink some water to relieve the pain. It worked and I felt fine. Then it was time to go "on stage". I stood up and the pain in my abdonmen hit me like a ton of bricks! I could barely stand and breathe let alone sing! I stood there for a few seconds waiting for the pain to pass but it didn't. At the last second, I told the worship leader that they were going to have to go on without me! So they did! Remie was in the congregation and noticed that I didn't come out to sing so he came sprinting back stage to find me. He took me home and I drank lots of water while laying down. In about a half hour I felt much better! I knew that I wasn't in real labor but it was very scary at the same time!
