For the last week or so, I have become increasingly exhausted. I know that being tired is a normal part of pregnancy but I was so exhausted that I could've layed on the ground in a store and taken a nap. People were commenting on how tired I looked but it wasn't until I momentarily fell asleep in the check-out line at Meijer that I knew something wasn't right. I contacted my OB's office to pick their brains about my exhaustion. My doctor said that it could be as simple as that I am pregnant while chasing around a toddler. But, she also said that many women who get pregnant less than 18 months since their last pregnancy have a tendency to become anemic. She said that the symptoms of anemia are exhaustion, pale skin and dizziness. She instructed me to start eating multiple times during the day and to start taking an iron supplement. I started the iron today and I already feel better! I feel like I am back to myself again and able to get out of bed without falling asleep on the floor!

Good - so glad you're feeling better already! It's amazing - all those years of medical school really paid off and they know what they're talking about :-)
