Yesterday, the Franzen's had the softball team over for a pool party! We had a lot of fun! Remie David loved playing in the pool with us and I really enjoyed feeling weightless in the water! Finally Remie David wanted to get out of the pool so Remie Sr took him out while I stayed in. Remie David was running along the edge of the pool throwing the ball to me while I would just move along with him to make sure he didn't fall in. At one point Remie decided to go see his dad. We were both watching him as he walked to the other side of the yard but he got distracted and ran and jumped right in the deep end of the pool! He was so far from me and Remie sr and I just remember seeing his little body sink to the bottom of the pool! I froze, I honestly couldn't move or yell. Remie Sr went running to the pool but by that time sweet Caroline Franzen saw what was going on and grabbed Remie and brought him out of the water. I am so thankful that she was there and didnt freeze like I did! Remie David wasn't phased at all by jumping in the water! He thought it was fun and kept trying to do it again! It was the longest few seconds of my life!
