Home Sweet Home

Today was the big moving day! It went relatively smoothly with only a few hiccups. We received a lot of great help and are so thankful for those that volunteered their time to make our move easier.

As I'm sitting here among a messy house, filled with boxes, I recognize that normally this type of disruption in my life would cause me to panic and feel overwhelmed. I hate things being out of place. I hate leaving things undone. But instead of being anxious and uneasy, I am sitting here with tears in my eyes, so thankful for what God has blessed us with. I am overjoyed in our new place and would even say that I'm on cloud nine!

The dogs are transitioning nicely to their new home. Usually Darla, the German Shepehrd is a nervous nelly but she seems to be relatively calm. Lily, our black lab is happier than a clam that she has all new landscaping to eat.

The kids are being super! They are over the moon about their new bedrooms and can't wait to meet all of the neighbors with pools!

We are extremely tired from a long day but looking forward to the days ahead!
