A Morning at Urgent Care

Went to urgent care today because I was pretty sure that I was dying. I was diagnosed with a very rare disease known as ......seasonal allergies! Ugh. So much for getting some good drugs. Just kidding. Well maybe.

Anyway, while I was there the physician's assistant treated me. When she first walked into the exam room she played with Grace for what seemed like an eternity. It was almost to the point of me reminding her that I was the patient and not Grace. But then again, who could blame her? Grace is stinking adorable.

Once she finished with the cute one she examed me and blah blah blah. Then she starts talking about how wonderful motherhood is and that every day is filled with awe and wonder. I'm pretty sure this is the look I gave her:

But then she asks how many kids I have. I prepare myself for the normal verbal abuse people give me when I say that I have four kids. And to my surprise she exclaims "I have 7 kids!!! I love large families!!"

She went on and on about how rewarding motherhood is and how I'll never regret having a large family. She even said "the world is a better place because of families like ours". I really just wanted to get out of the office but it was nice to have a conversation with someone that actually "got me" and my desire to have a million kids! It's amazing that that one little conversation made my day!

So there you have it- my exciting day as a mom of 4!
