Wow! It's been quite a while since my last post! A lot has been going on in our home! Let me take a few seconds to catch ya'll up on our family!

Isaac turned one in September! I cant believe the year went by so quickly! Isaac is such a sweet and laid back little guy. His smile really melts my heart. Isaac is walking but still prefers to crawl because it's a much faster form of transportation. We are struggling with his constant wheezing. His pediatrician thinks it might be from asthma because Remie Sr and Charlotte have asthma. Isaac is on a new breathing treatment and if his wheezing doesnt get better soon he will be referred to a specialist to look into it further. Dr. Little is concerned that possibly Isaac's concave chest is pressing on his lungs or other organs that are causing the wheezing so we will look into that as well.

Charlotte turned 3 in September. She is in nursery school and LOVING it!! I really see something special in my little Charlotte Clare. She is everything I always wanted to be: smart, confident, assertive, athletic and yet as sweet and tender as can be. She loves playing with her baby dolls and picking out nail polish but will also beat the tar out of her big brother!

Remie David will be 5 in January! I cant believe my best buddy is growing up so fast! He really loves playing sports and he desperately wants to learn how to play the guitar (shhh Santa is bringing him a guitar). He has such a wonderful heart and is growing into such a giving and loving boy!
Remie Sr and I are surviving being out numbered by children. We will be celebrating 8 years of marriage in January! Remie is the explosive breecher on his SWAT team. This means that he is the one that makes the bombs to blast open doors or bust through walls. He loves his job and is pretty darn good at it. He is on call 24/7 which was difficult at first but now I am getting used to hearing his pager go off in the middle of the night.
Now about me, I'm still a stay at home mom to my little sweeties! I really love being able to stay home with them. I'm also still doing the birth doula thing about once a month. While I love being at all births, I found my true passion and calling at Mary's Mantle. Mary's Mantle is a Catholic safe haven and resident program for pregnant women. The wonderful people at Mary's Mantle allow me to teach child birth education, breastfeeding and baby care as well as attend the birth of most of these babies! It's amazing how easily I fall in love with each of the women at Mary's Mantle. Check out
