Previously, I decided to wait to start Charlotte on cereal because she was doing great only getting breast milk. Also, I enjoyed the thought that Charli was getting all of her nutrition from me, that all she needed was her mommy to survive. However, the past week or two has been difficult. She wants to nurse ALL the time and is waking up early becasue she is hungry. After much thought, Remie and I decided that it was time for our little one to start cereal. Surprisingly, Charlotte did great with her first taste of cereal! She didn't cry at all (unlike her big brother who HATED it!) She even learned to open her mouth for the spoon! She ate the entire bowl and was satisfied! What a bitter sweet moment in the Verougstraete home!
