Can you hear me now??? Good!

I was reading in one of my pregnancy books that if you put your ear on my tummy you might be able to hear a tiny heart beat. I didn't think it was pssoble to hear that little thing through all the layers of skin and such but I thought I would have Remie give it a try. On Thursday night, Remie layed his head on my belly. First, the baby was kicking him constantly in the ear so he was distracted. But once the baby calmed down he listened very carefully and concentrated. He said he could hear the thump thump of the baby's heart! He could tell it wasn't my heart because it was beating so fast! It was very neat that Remie was able to experience something with the baby that I wasn't able to.
