Ultrasound #4

I had an internal ultrasound today to confirm that the placenta did indeed move. Everything looked perfect! The baby was real mellow and had it's arms over it's face like it was trying to sleep! I could really get used to seeing my baby so much! I still have restrictions from working out but I have to admit that I am starting to like being lazy (shhh dont tell my trainer!)

Yesterday, I had a follow-up appointment with my OB to talk about the level 2 ultrasound that I had at the hospital last week. When I was getting weighed, the nurse said that when the hospital faxed my ultrasound paperwork to the office it stated that the tech told us the gender of the baby. I immediately told her that we did not find out although the tech said she could see what the gender was! The nurse had to hurry up and tell everyone in the office that we didn't find out because they all know what we are having and she didn't want anyone to slip! Of course it was killing me that everyone knew what MY baby was except ME so I was trying to figure out a way to "accidentally" find out the gender so Remie wouldn't get mad at me. My OB wouldn't say a word so then I was off to bug the head nurse, Dianne. Dianne said that if I really wanted to know, that she would tell me on one condition, that Remie had to be present! Of course Remie did not agree on finding out the gender so here I sit, pondering every little comment that the OB staff has made to try to figure out the gender! ha ha! I have to give my mind something to do to pass the time of this pregnancy (I guess raising a 1 year old isn't distracting enough!)

LOL - we thought you would find out what you were having - we know how much you can't take secrets. OK to take your mind off it, try and figure out what ours will be. Javier really, really, really wants a boy and refers to the baby as "he" and "him" and "my boy" all the time.
