My Life

There comes a time in a young mother's life that she realizes that her best friend is the child that she loves and cares for all day. Last week, I came upon that exact realization! My son, Remie, and I are best friends! Yes, I have adult friends that I enjoy spending time with but Remie and I have so much fun playing together, snuggling and talking! While this epiphany made me feel pitiful knowing that I talk to my one year old more than my adult friends, I also felt an extreme amount of joy! I never thought that I could be so happy just listening to my little one babble away or watching him learn how to put the circle block in the circle hole! It’s times like these that I wouldn’t trade for the world!
